Review After years on hydrochlorothiazide (sp), they no longer worked to flush off fluid. The Dr. wanted to put me on something stronger. After reading the article on Celery Seed Extract by Dr. Michael Murray, I took it to my next Dr. visit. He said it was worth a try since I was getting so many side effects from the drugs. Review My cholesterol was 235 when I started taking this brand of red yeast rice. Dr. wanted me on cholesterol meds and was upset that I wanted to try this first. After 2 months on this I went back for blood work and my cholesterol was down 97 points. It was 138. My dr. was suprised and happy but as a die hard who is pushing government regulated drugs he still wanted me to go on one of his LOL.
