Question: Its unhealthy. You aaulclty need to feed your body proper nutrition in order to work for you. What you are now is starving it. You may lose weight but once you start eating normally again, you will gain it all back and all your suffering will be for not. You need a min of 1200 calories per day. You dont have to go hungry. Eat 5 times a day (breakfast important, snack, lunch, snack, dinner). Fruits and veges and water, as much as you can stand. Water will not cause you to gain weight. Stay away from the fast food, fried foods, sweets, sodas, etc. I eat 5 times a day and easily stay within the cal limit, but it takes planning. You cant just wing it' when it comes to your meals. When you plan what you are going to eat for a given day, you are less likely to make bad choices. If you are doing a considerable amount of exercise, you may want to up your calories intake to 1400. The weight wont drop off all that fast, but it is much healthier, and thats what the goal should be.

Perhaps the pressure and heat has actually drive the alcohol and water INTO the beans? You are right though, somehow suspending the beans would allow the extracts to drip down to the solvent. Maybe you could hang them in a teabag' somehow from the neck, or add stilts' to hold it up off the base, to avoid having to cut the neck?

Question: I've had problems every time I use my small pharamcy. In fact I use two and every time they are out, not only of Cellcept but also Ciclosporin. My nearest independent pharamcy promise to deliver but never do and I have to pop in whenever I am passing to see if my prescription has been filled.I sometimes use ABC pharamcy and although they are often out of the drugs they do deliver within a week to my flat which is great. They also offer a service to pick up my prescriptions from my Doctors too which saves me some time.I always get a prescription filled at the hospital whenever I have an appointment there so I usually have more than I need just in case.Any body know the maximum amount we can order from our G.P.s in one go?D x

Question: So, there are several dfriefent forms of calcium supplements. Calcium carbonate, calcium citrate, there are pills, chewables and liquids. I think Vitamin World might be the only store that sells calcium in a liquid form which is easier to absorb. The last time I checked, GNC didn't have that. The problem with calcium carbonate is that you have to take them with food (ie. at meal times) to absorb the calcium. You might be better off with calcium citrate which can be taken any time. The other thing you should be aware of is that you need to take Vitamin D with calcium so that the calcium can be taken up into your bones. There are supplements with Vitamin D and calcium. You can also get calcium, Vitamin D and Vitamin K together in a chewable like Viactiv . The other issue to be aware of is that your body can only absorb 500 mg of Calcium at one time. That's why 500 mg is the maximum dose pill that is available. If you take any more, you just won't get anything out of it. So, to get the recommended daily dose of 1,000 mg this means that you have to take two doses at separate times during the day. Another concern is that calcium can inhibit the absorption of other drugs and vitamins. You want to check with your doctor if you are taking other medications or supplements. I take two calcium supplements per day and an iron supplement. Iron and Calcium are absorbed competitively , so I have to take all three at separate times of the day. It's a pain. Talk to a nutritionist they can help you figure out how much calcium to get in your diet using supplements and foods. Good luck!

Question: Good review, Heather! I lereand from a nutritionist that your colon is your 2nd brain! I think of that every day, and the mantra helps me to stay away from yucky food and drinks. I cannot explain the physiological description between brain and colon, but I sure do believe it, and I feel so much better when I eat natural foods than when I eat sugar, white flour, and processed food. Commercial baked good do bad things to my body BUT if I eat my own homemade baked goods, I feel great. So no more store bought cookies, muffins, cakes, etc .only the yummies from great recipes with simple ingredients.
