Question: Good review, Heather! I lereand from a nutritionist that your colon is your 2nd brain! I think of that every day, and the mantra helps me to stay away from yucky food and drinks. I cannot explain the physiological description between brain and colon, but I sure do believe it, and I feel so much better when I eat natural foods than when I eat sugar, white flour, and processed food. Commercial baked good do bad things to my body BUT if I eat my own homemade baked goods, I feel great. So no more store bought cookies, muffins, cakes, etc .only the yummies from great recipes with simple ingredients.
