In response to your inquiry, Roex Natural Collagen is not Halal certified, but can be considered Halal compliant. The capsules are vegi and the collagen is chicken derived so far no problem. The chondroitin is bovine so it is dependent on the Iham. Beef is not prohibited but the method of slaughter (if very strict) must be supervised to certify as Halal. Some consider (as long as not derived from Pork or Crab) to be acceptable due to the chemical processing to arrive at pure chondroitin. In any case, you can’t claim “certified” but most would consider the product to be Halal compliant. A very strict inam would want the chondroitin certified and also the producer to be inspected and certified before a claim could be made as Halal certified. “Certified” is different than just having a product that has all conforming ingredients.
