    Question: I am a bit confused - - I understant that with the HCG diet - you are to eat less than 500 calories per day. I understant that with the HCA diet - you can eat your normal amount of calories per day, plus exercise, etc. What is the difference between the two and why would you want to take the HCG and starve?

HCA comes from Garcinia Cambogia a fruit and and though the diet is not as restricted it is still recommended to eat a health diet and exercise. HCG stands for human chorionic gonadotropin and is a hormone naturally produced by the body during pregnancy.
