Product: Vitamin D3 10000 IU (100 tablets) Asked on: April 19, 2013 Question: I am a UK resident. I am to be prescribed 20,000 iu per day for 7 days to bring my levels. Only problem, ever since been suffering from vit d defeciency, one of my problems is dysphagia (tightening of throat muscles )had to swallow. Feel like Im going to choke on everything. Fear of taking pills. Vitamin D is not really liscensed for prescription use in the UK so not available. Would I be ok to take this in the dose reccomended by the doctor here? Is American iu the same as UK iu?
