    Question: I remember tikinhng, when the girls were four or five months old, that how I felt must just be the new normal , something I would just have to learn to accept.               Question: Yes. Prednisone can cause weight gain that qclkuiy. I have had to take it before for severe allergic reaction with asthma and my husband has for poison ivy. You can gain like 10 pounds just in the time you take one dose pak. And it's got to be actual weight, not just water, because it does NOT come right off. I'm still working off the 10 pounds from a dose pak four months ago. Of course, I'm 45 and it's harder to lose, but still
