    Question: Is it safe to break this capsule in two to take 12 at a time?One doctor prescribed this brand at 100mg, my other doctor feels the dose is high.... My preg. Level is 22mg and I'm 51, 5', 105lb, w hypothyroid, adrenal fatigue and husimotos disease. I've also recently read that taking pregnenolone can lead to cancer.Please send me some feedback!Thank you!
    • 0 0 A: We can only recommend taking the dose as directed by the manufacturer which is one capsule daily. Your physician may prescribe you other doses, however if 2 different doctors are telling you differently you might want to let each doctor know what the other one is saying and find out which is right for you. Cutting a capusle in half should not be a problem however your physician can advise you if that is necessary. The warnings on this product are as follows:Pregnenolone may affect levels of other hormones, such as progesterone, estrogen, testosterone and/or DHEA. Do not take this product if you have a history of seizures. Do not take this product if you have breast cancer, prostate cancer, or other hormone-sensitive diseases.
