 Chitosan 120 Tabs  1000 mg

Chitosan is a natural fiber, derived from chitin. Chitin, a natural polymer which occurs in marine invertebrates (shellfish) and the exoskeleton of certain insects. Scientific research is finding many new uses for Chitin and Chitosan (water-soluble derivative of chitin) including pharmaceutical use as a high quality fiber. Since it is not digested it has no caloric value.

Recent studies imply Chitin helps speed up recovery time in humans. Its chemical composition & structure allows for increased hydrogen bonding. Humans, on average, are approximately 68-75% water chemically speaking; a supplement which promotes hydrogen bonding means faster healing throughout the body. Chitosan has also been recognized by many trying to lose weight as an effective way to do so.
