AllerFree | Enzymes for Allergy Control, 60 capsules
AllerFree by Pure Essence Labs provides a specially designed blend of plant based enzymes to help reduce the frequency and intensity of allergic reactions.
Allergic responses occur when the immune system sends histamines and other factors to break down foreign proteins in the blood. These factors trigger itching, sneezing, watery eyes, runny noses, inflammation and other discomforts. When taken between meals, the protease (protein digesting) enzymes help digest proteins (from yeasts, molds, pollen, animal dander, etc.) before the immune system reacts to them, thus preventing the release of histamine. The amylase enzymes help neutralize histamine that has already been released, thereby minimizing the effects of reactions in progress. Studies have shown that allergy sufferers have lower amylase enzyme levels than normal.

Question: Must you take this daily or can you just take it when you have an allergic reaction? I periodically have a reaction that causes redness, itching and warm skin.
- A: AllerFree is best used by taking 2 capsules when a reaction such as redness and itching occur and another capsule every hour until it subsides. It may also be used as a preventative by taking one capsule during seasons or when triggers may set the stage for a higher risk of a reaction.
