        Product: Bio-Rutin Complex (60 tablets)
        Asked on: January 26, 2014
Question: How much lead is in this product? There is a warning on the bottle about the lead.
        • 0 0 A: The following is a statement from Country Life pertianing to the warning on their label. California Prop 65 defines the “safe harbor levels” of various chemicals called “safe harbor levels”.  If a listed chemical in a daily serving of a product exceeds the safe harbor level, a warning to the consumer is required.  The safe harbor level for lead is 0.5 mcg, which is 150 times less than the FDA provisional daily intake level for adults.  Presently, less than 5% of our products require a Prop 65 warning.  We believe that all, or most, of the lead in products originates from naturally occurring sources in the environment.  Naturally occurring lead can be found in dietary supplement ingredients such as milk (whey), cocoa, and citrus fruits.  Country Life makes every effort to deliver products with less than 0.5 mcg of lead, however due to varying levels in natural products or large serving size, it is not always possible. Asked on: January 23, 2014
Question: Is this useful in treatment of IBS.
            • 0 0 A: Thank you for the question that you have submiited.  I have found information to share with you on Bromelain from altmedicine.about.com

               Digestion

Bromelain is a popular natural digestive aid due to it's ability to digest proteins. It's used for bloating, gas and other digestive symptoms and for conditions such as irritable bowel syndrome. Bromelain is often used alone or in combination with other enzymes such as lipase, which digests fats, and amylase, which digests starch. There is little research, however, on the safety or effectiveness of bromelain for digestion.  http://altmedicine.about.com/cs/herbsvitaminsa1/a/Bromelain.htm Vote down - Vote up

Question: i wan't to know wherether once i've taken this vitex chasteberry extract - i'll have regular periods
            • 0 0 A: I found this information on livestrong.com

              Irregular Periods

Irregular periods, including absent periods, may be improved by taking vitex, especially if the problem is a high level of the hormone prolactin. According to the University of Maryland Medical Center, the herb must be taken for 12 to 18 months in order for it to be effective. In some cases, the herb may bring on regular periods after you take it for only six months. If you miss three periods in a row, see your physician   Vote down - Vote up
