      Question: Can Femaprin be taken while taking 225mg of Effecor XR daily? My MD wants to place me on oral birth control for Peri Menopause symptoms and issues. I am 43 years old and do not want to do that. However, I fear the side affects I am reading about Femaprin. Rapid heart beat! Hair Loss! Skin Rash! I do not know what to do. Plus I want to make sure it is not going to affect the Effexor XR (I actually take the generic version) that I take daily. Please advise.

I did not find any information that indicates that Femaprin would cause rapid heart beat, or hair loss.
