    Product: GenEssentials Probiotic (90 vcaps)*
    Asked on: August 19, 2015
Question: Does this probiotic need to ship refrigerated?
    • 0 0 A: It can be very confusing when choosing a probiotic to know which probiotics need refrigeration, which don't and why. Probiotics consisting of freeze dried organisms generally do not need refrigeration but are sensitive to extreme heat. Genesis Today's plant based fermented probiotic has a shelf-stable enteric coated capsule which does not require refrigeration and ships fresh to all destinations. Genesis Today's probiotic is also packaged in a delayed release, vegetarian capsule protecting the ingredients from stomach acids and allowing them to be released into the intestines where they are needed. Product: Alive Once Daily | Men's 50+ (60 tabs)
    Asked on: August 19, 2015
Question: Since I started taking these, I have been getting a stomach achenauseous feeling a couple hours later. Is this a known side affect? I took a GNC Men's multivitamin before this and didn't have this problem. Should I stop taking them?
    • 0 0 A: Alive Once Daily is a potent multi vitamin containing 23 vitamins and minerals, 12 digestive enzymes, 14 green foods and 12 organically grown mushrooms. It is suggested as with many supplements that you take the suggested dosage with food or a meal and plenty of water. Food should preferably be a balanced meal that include protein, carbohydrates, and fat to stimulate opitmum acid secretion in the stomach, which will allow for better absorption. Following this standard protocol may help prevent nausea, improve absorption and maintain consistent nutrient levels in your body. If you are taking the suggested dosage and following the suggested usage and these symptoms continue discontinue using this product. There are many excellent multi vitamins on the market today for men over 50. You may find that a less potent product wil not compromise the benefits of using a daily multi vitamin. Product: Beta-Glucans with ImmunEnhancer (250mg - 60 Vcaps)
    Asked on: August 11, 2015
Question: Can this shrink tumors and release edema?
    • 0 0 A: Most experts will tell you a healthy immune system is the most important thing in the fight against cancer. Basically Beta-Glucan is an immunomodulator which helps make the immune system become strong. Beta-Glucan is a safe natural fiber molecule that scientists are researching and proving it's many health benefits, not only helping the immune system but in combination with other drug therapies, doing a better job to fight cancer. One study conducted by Gordon Ross, PhD University of Louisville School of Medicine, Beta-1-3 D administered alone reduced tumor weight by nearly half. When used in conjunction with other drug therapy, results increased. Beta-Glucan alone has many positive benefits but reducing the edema may require separate treatment to assist with the fluid retention.  Vote down - Vote up
