Potassium Iodide (KI) is a compound that contains Iodine, a nutrient necessary for normal thyroid function. Iodine in the form of Iodide is an integral part of thyroid hormones, which regulate cellular metabolism and energy production. Iodide is a form of iodine that is taken preferentially by the thyroid gland. This product also helps in working with the body's normal detoxification process that includes the removal of heavy metals.
