Questions and answers:

Question: what does BLGU, ALU,FIP stand for?
  • A: The system for determining enzyme activity and potency measures the unit of activity and potency in enzymes. Each capsule of Dairy Digest delivers lactase ALU (acid lactase units) to aid digestion of milk sugar (lactose). Lipase (FIP) is one unit of enzyme activity, defined as that quantity of a standard lipase preparation (Fungi Lipase-International FIP Standard) or fat digestion. Protease selected standardized according to how fast it breaks apart β-lactoglobulin units (BLGU’s) because β-lactoglobulin is the major whey protein of cow’s milk.
