Zinc Monomethionine Complex

OptiZinc from Solaray is a patented complex of the essential mineral zinc, and methionine. Methionine is an amino acid which is most readily absorbed by the body. This formula discourages the binding of zinc with compounds which inhibit zinc absorption in the body.

Zinc is a trace mineral. This means the average body requires less than 100 mg of zinc per day. However, zinc can be found in every cell throughout the human body and is an essential enzyme stimulant. Zinc benefits the digestive, immune, and reproductive systems and is necessary in the healing process.
