Pro - Bio is a guaranteed potency probiotic which has been formulated to support healthy intestinal microflora balance. Pro-Bio contains 8 species of beneficial bacteria and is enteric coated to bypass and survive the acid environment of the stomach. Pro-Bio contains two unique strains, F19 and Bacillus Subtillis. F19 is a member of the Lactobacillus acidophilus paracasei species. It is well tolerated by infants, adults, and the elderly, adheres to the colon and persists in the GI tract. It has also been shown to increase Lactic Acid Bacteria in the GI-Microflora after 8 weeks of consumption. Bacillus Subtillis is one of the most studied strains in the world and has been shown to normalize intestinal microflora balance.
