Pantothenic Acid is an essential member of the B-complex vitamins. Pantothenic Acid also known as Vitamin B5, assist other B complex vitamins in converting carbohydrates, fats and proteins into useable energy. When the body becomes over stressed and over produces stress hormones, the body becomes depleted of Vitamin B5 and this needs to be replaced.
Pantothenic Acid is also important to the nervous system as well as contributing in the production of neurotransmitters in the brain. Vitamin B5 supports a healthy immune system while maintaining a normal functioning GI tract.
