MigraComfort, Petadolex Plus Butterbur (50mg 30 softgels)

Clinically shown to relieve vascular smooth muscle tension by inhibiting leuketrine synthesis. Uses a patented, standardized extract of butterbur called Petadolex®, which contains the biologically active compounds petasin and isopetasin. Petadolex® process also removes the toxic pyrrolizidine alkaloids from the butterbur plant, ensuring that MigraComfort uses one of the safest and most potent butterbur formulas ever developed. The perennial shrub Petasides hybridus has been at the center of global herbalism for hundreds of years. Commonly known as butterbur, this powerful herb has a multitude of benefits that have been utilized by Romans, ancient Greeks, and Renaissance Europeans alike. More recently, however, the Native Americans re-discovered butterbur as a powerful aid in managing episodic head discomfort. Fusing these traditional practices with modern research, scientists have now developed a potent butterbur extract called Petadolex®, the patented and standardized ingredient used in Planetary Herbals MigraComfort. It is a fact that specific vascular imbalances in the brain cause tens of millions of Americans to experience episodes of head discomfort each year. Those who experience it will tell you
