Echinamide® describes a patented, super-extracted Echinacea purpurea liquid produced and organically grown** directly by Natural Factors in British Columbia, Canada. Combined from the roots and flowers of Echinacea purpurea, picked at their peak and on-site, lab certified to be the highest potency (containing standardized potencies of the three main actives: alkylamides, polysaccharides, cichoric acid). Consumers will recognize this potency by a tingling sensation on the tongue. Echinamide® contains these actives in a base of the whole herb, so that none of the minor actives are missing. Natural Factors uses Echinacea purpurea (there are at least 9 species of echinacea) because this species contains the highest levels of alkylamides, cichoric acid and polysaccharides.
