If you take the Tonalin CLA with Omega 3-6-9 it boosts the fat burning effects of the CLA. I lost 5lbs in a week and noticed I've gained more muscle.

Considerable evidence is that CLA can help shift some portion of metabolism toward fat and away from muscle. The generic compound likely works, but much of the study and anecdotal reporting refers to Tonalin, the proprietary version sourced from safflower oil. Before I found Source Naturals' CLA at Seacoast, I was getting a similar product from another supplier (who shall remain alphabetically nameless). Recently, they started rebranding their product with "Tone-a-lean". Nice try but not the same thing. I take the CLA for several weeks, then skip a few. I do seem to have a noticeable increase in fat loss when taking it.
