As a healthy aid to fighting cancer

My 82 y/o father has been diagnosed with stomach cancer that has spread into his back. Friends and family told him they had heard that some people had amazing results by taking Asparagus. He was taking pureed asparagus for some time and did see some skin cancers on the backs of his hands 'shed off', revealing healthy skin underneath. After some time the smell of the asparagus puree became nauseating to him so I purchased the asparagus capsules for him in order that he might continue to recieve the healthy benefits from that to help his body fight his cancer, (since the VA has declined to give him any kind of medical treatment other than palative). He has been taking the Asparagus capsules 2 in the a.m. and 2 in the p.m. and tolerates them well. I do not know what the eventual outcome of all the asparagus will be, but the fact that his skin cancers shed off causes me to have hopes that perhaps it may help him internally as well. At least if it does not help him get well, it is something that should not harm him! I only ordered one bottle to begin with for him to try, but after speaking with him on the phone just now, will be ordering more. Wish him luck!

I have been usiung asparagus extract (2capsules per day in the morning) on the suggestion of my doctor who is aDO. This has helped reduce the amount of fluid retention. Seacoast vitamins has consistently had the lowest price for the same brand I was buying at the heralthfood store.
