Carlson Vitamin K2 provides 5mg of vitamin K2 in each capsule. Research suggests that vitamin K2 promotes a healthy cardiovascular system as well as promotes healthy bones and cartilage. Vitamin K2 plays a vital role in blood clotting, preventing excess bleeding. K2 helps to keep the calcium out of the arterior walls and in the bones. A recent article in the Journal of American College of Cardiology suggest that statins may increase calcification in the arteries.

Directions: Adults take one capsule daily at mealtime.
