A hormone synthesized from cholesterol by the adrenal glands. This pre-cursor to DHEA contributes to the production of other important hormones in the body, i.e. Progesterone and Testosterone. Pregnenolone by Country Life has been found to improve energy levels, vision, memory, and clarity of thinking. It increases an overall sense of well-being. It has also been shown effective at enhancing sexual enjoyment or libido. Some women have experienced a decrease in premenstrual and menopausal symptoms as well.
