L-5-hydroxy Tryptophan 100 mg

Solaray L-5-hydroxy Tryptophan 100 mg is special combination of natural L-5-Hydroxytryptophan, Vitamin B-6, Vitamin C and bioflavonoids.  Recent clinical studies have indicated that the use of L-5-HTP increases the absorption of serotonin in the brain.  Vitamin B-6 works uniquely as a cofactor for enzymes that convert L-tryptophan into serotonin.  The Vitamin C, meanwhile, works to catalyze the hydroxylation or tryptophan to serotonin.  This product is also specially coated to bypass stomach enzymes that would prematurely convert L-5-HTP to serotonin.

The L-5-HTP contained in this product is a natural extract of the Griffonia.  I tis not produced synthetically or by fermentation.
