A good natural source of minerals, Bladderwrack capsules by Nature's Way provide 350 mcg of iodine. Found off the shorelines of northern seas, Bladderwrack is considered to be a type of seaweed, though it is closely related to brown algae. Bladderwrack may be used to treat cases of fatigue, high cholesterol, and obesity.

Due to its naturally high iodine content, Bladderwrack may be most helpful to people with under-active thyroid glands. A sluggish thyroid gland is known as hypothyroidism. Nature's Way Bladderwrack may also aid in the relief of indigestion, heartburn, constipation, diarrhea, and gastritis.

Question: i would like to know if the bladderwrack is safe for person who are hypertension
  • A: The only warnings on this product I see are to not take Bladderwrack if you have hypersensitivity to iodine or have hyperthyroidism. It is always recommened that you you let your physician know what supplements you are adding to your routine if you have any medical condition or are taking prescription medication.
