Care Instructions:

Spot clean your printed yoga mat with Gaiam's Mat Wash or damp cloth with cold water and mild detergent. Dry flat. To increase or restore stickiness, add 1/3 cup distilled vinegar to the wash. The mat may fade and become brittle and unusable if exposed to the sun for extended periods of time. We recommend storing your mat in a mat bag when not in use.

Occasionally, the smell of a yoga mat can be strong when you first open it. Rest assured, it's not toxic. It's a harmless odor. Unroll your mat and hang it outside or in a vented room; you'll find the smell substantially reduced in a few days and virtually nonexistent within a week. You can also wash your mat with mild soap and water in a bathtub or washing machine. Let it air dry, and your mat should be odor free and ready to serve you well for years to come.
