I've been using Enzymatic Therapy Acidophilus Pearls for quite a while. I actually give them to my husband. I had noticed that his breath was strong (read: bad). My first assumption was that it was either his teeth or stomach. I started him on the Pearls, and his breath got noticeably better. I'm hoping it helped balance other parts of his body also. I recommend them. Keep them refrigerated.

Source Naturals 5 HTP is one of the many sources I've tried. It was best tolerated at night a few hours after eating, but made me sick to my stomach if I took it before eating in the mornings. The biggest downside to the product is that it is in 50mg capsules instead of 100mg capsules. I have heard great things about Lidtke's l-Tryptophan as well, but have not tried it.
I would definately use Source Natural's 5-HTP is available to me, but prefer LifeLink and Solaray's.

I've been using Nordic Naturals for about 6 months. My son had delayed speech. Initially I tried an EFA supplement which triggered some improvements with his speech. The greatest improvement came when I switched him to Nordic Naturals ProEFA. Within a week, he was saying things more clearly. After the first week, I'm happy to report no side-effects. This liquid chelation is easy to take, and I am excited to be using a liquid chelate therapy. This is the first product or treatment that has helped relieve pain in my thumb joints, which were damaged when I had a serious car accident. Ihave been using the IOD-50 for a few weeks. Very good product. I had used the 12.5 for 2 months prior and realzed I needed a larger dose. this dose works great for me and I recommend it to anyone who has been through the thyroid nightmare with general doctors and are overweight, cold, tired and just feel horrible. The generic compound likely works, but much of the study and anecdotal reporting refers to Tonalin, the proprietary version sourced from safflower oil. I was dx in the yr. of 2000 as Bipolar, I am 62yrs. old. Every single relative of mine has died of some form of cancer. My doctor stated the obvious; "You are genetically cancer-prone". DUH! No Kidding!
