PABA is a non-essential member of the B-vitamin family and short for para-aminobenzoic acid. An essential vitamin that serves several health benefits. It promotes healthy red blood cell formation. It has also been found to enhance the production of Folic Acid in the intestines. PABA is typically found in sunscreen for its value in helping to protect the skin from damaging ultra-violet rays.

PABA has been found effective by some in reducing gray hair and increasing hair growth.
