Question: Is gluten free

A: Avalon Organics plant-based ingredients come from a variety of sources and they do not currently screen products for traces of gluten. So unfortunately I cannot guarantee that this product is gluten-free. Many of the ingredients in this product are organic (70%). There are no parabens, harsh preservatives, synthetic colors or fragrances, phthalates or harmful sulfates in this product and it is 100% vegetarian.
Question: Is this product and its ingrediants produced in the US? If not where is it manufactured and where are its organic ingrediants obtained? Who certified?

A: Although ingredients are predominantly sourced domestically, it is sometimes necessary to source globally. This is due to the fact that some ingredients are not available domestically or the domestic sources are limited based on market demand.
All Avalon Organic products are certified to either the NSF/ANSI 305 Standard for Personal Care Products Containing Organic Ingredients or the USDA NOP Organic Standard. They believe in ethical and sustainable agriculture and business practices, including organic farming, and source certified organic ingredients whenever possible. All organic ingredients found in our products meet all federal requirements for organic ingredients in food products and are noted in our ingredient lists. These ingredients are certified by organizations including Quality Assurance International (QAI), Vermont Organic Farmers, Oregon Tilth and other respected third party organic certification agencies.
Avalon Organics assure you that all of our products contain natural, organic, cruelty-free and 100% vegetarian ingredients.
