I think my nose has been dripping for years, and in the past year, my eyes water constantly when I'm outdoors. I ordered Flora Sinus hoping it would help a little. Try K20, which is Kellog's water, it's either avblalaie premade in bottles or in little packets you can put in your purse. The water has a little bit of protein in it to take the edge off your hunger so you don't fee so much like snacking between meals, or so much like eating a lot if you drink it before a meal. I love it, I think it's the best thing since diurex. Other things I've found that help are to compare the various meal replacement shakes (Boost, Ensure, SlimFast, Spirutein, Fiber35Diet, even Myoplex and Whey Protein), and mix them with Soy Milk, sometimes Chocolate Soy Milk, sometimes even Hazelnut milk (if the mix is chocolate flavor, it's great with Hazelnut milk). I use these to replace a meal, sometimes several meals a week. Of course I take a multivitamin and multimineral too to keep from running a deficit on anything. Since you're 5 , it's not hard for you to stay at a low enough weight for the dancer clothes. I'm 5'11 so since most dancer clothes max out at weight of 140 lbs, you can imagine how hard it is for me. Another hint is to always cary small bits of candy with you (Swedish fish, gummy bears, or hard candy), and eat small amounts of it during hard workouts. The small amount of sugar keeps your heart and brain from feeling starved and making you feel exhausted which leads to huge carb cravings after working out. Not to mention it helps your stamina during workouts. It's way more important than water. But you don't have to take my word for it. Read up on marathon/sprint runners, etc in The Lore of Running by Tim Noakes MD. (Do I sound like Reading Rainbow? I love that show!)What some athletes do is drink a small amount of YS Bee Farms Alive Bee Power mixed into their water. It provides a little bit of sugar, and immune system support foods. You can buy small amounts of it and try it out. But while it's important to know that in the long run, the fastest way to lose weight is to use a meal replacement shake. That's because it's mindlessly simple and easy. And you'll have enough trouble with your appetite and managing your desires when you're losing weight. Why add more dimensions like portion control to it? Add that later, after you've gained comfort with cutting down the calories. One step at a time. Portion control is the hard way. Slim Fast and its cousin diets are the easy way because there's no thinking until later when you return to normal life. But by then, you've lost the weight, and you have an investment in keeping it off. It's up to you which way you go. You can pick a planned liquid diet like Slim Fast, MediFast, or whatever, or you can just make one yourself with the tons of shakes out there and meal bars out there. it's amazing all the dirfnfeet opinions on seasoning and treating cast iron. I usually season mine in my BBQ grill just because of the smoke it can create.I also usually just put a bit of water in there, scrub it just enough to get the stuff loose, then rinse it out good, set it over low heat and rub with oil to season again but I say whatever method works for you is the method you should use cast iron rocks..love to use the dutch ovens when we go camping.

Hello everyone :-)Firstly, I would post the recpie - if I had one! The soap flakes came out of an old kit and I winged it with the wheat germ and oil - sorry. The very rough quantities would have been around 2 tbs sunflower oil & a large handful of wheat germ to maybe 3 cups of *very* fine soap flakes, and say, 1 cup of boiling water mixed in to make a thick 'dough'. Then rolled by hand into balls before it hardened up again. The last ones I did are a bit crumbly so you need to work fast - or add less wheat germ. Maybe Googling might turn up a more specific recpie? Sorry guys.Cheers, Julie

I have taken Apple Cider Vinegar for about 10 years and that is why I am reading this on this site. I had been diagnosed with many internal problems, including heart, liver, gastritis, enlarged spleen, epstein barr virus, lyme, and am deaf. When I went to Dr. Salvato after treating myself for 4 years, this was her remark after a chest xray, EKG ad blood work had been done, "What are you doing? Everything internally is 100% normal. Yes, I had eruptions over my entire body due to cleansing and emptying out the problems inside my body, but Dr. Patricia Salvato is like Dr. Inglis and when I told her my hair analysis showed I had high arsenic and I had researched it on the internet and it said sulphur was good for it and I knew she had sulphur injections and I wanted some, she said, "I have something better than that. What she had was this: Glycyron Plus, and she also had Glutathione. I have been taking both each week along with soaking in a bathtub of baking soda water for about an hour each day and my skin is almost 100% healed and internally I am still 100% normal and this includes my blood for Dr. Salvato said the very first day taht the arsenic was not in my blood. I have taken burdock to clean out my blood. Just enter the toxic metals and/or arsenic on your search and find out about it for it is in our water and in our environment. It said if you are low in manganese that your bodies door is wide open to arsenic and in 1996 when I got my first hair analysis I was very low in manganese and figure I had been my entire 68 yeears. I want to be a part of this site and I ask you to help make Dr. patricia salvato the head of the FDA in order for these things to still be available to people in the United States. Being prone to Urinary Tract Infections (UTIs), I've tried lots of herbal remedies as preventives. Taking big doses of Cipro for the infections works, but I want to avoid doing that unless I have to and my doctor agrees with me on this. She suggested Cranberry supplements which I do take as well, but after trying a bunch of products out there, I have found SUPER CRANACTIN to be far superior to other things with the exception of pure Uva Ursi. This combination of herbs and vitamins in SuperCranactin is really the best according to the information I've been able to find out about UTIs and natural remedies. One suggestion: take it daily every morning to prevent a UTI but if you feel one coming on, take more frequent doses with lots of water or cranberry juice that day. If it doesn't do the trick, call your doctor immediately and get tested. UTIs are not just painful, they are also not good for your system, kidneys especially. I highly recommend SuperCranactin.

Maura -Having tried their standard blotted Oolongs and Senchas, I can say that there is a little bit of a difference in the taste; the flavor is a little bit more condensed in these, and I think there's a slightly different tea-to-water ratio. I do agree that I think it's a bit of a repackage of the Japanese versions (because I've tried the Japanese versions of these from Asian supermarkets in the area), but I'm still a supporter of the cause behind this effort competing against those nasty canned energy drinks by bringing a healthier tea-based alternative to the American market.While I'm fortunate enough to live in LA, where I can get the imported Japanese teas pretty easily, I know there are a lot of people who don't have that luxury, and I think this is a good way for Ito En to get their products out into the US market. I'm sure Kirin is attempting to do the same!Also, Ito En has a new golden oolong in their Teas' Teas line that I'm going to be trying out soon. I'll try to get my hands on a Kirin golden oolong for comparison. (Any excuse to go to Little Tokyo!)

I didn't think plain old simple herbs could help me for my irritable bowel. I was on elavil for 12 years. That did help. I wanted to get off the elavil which I did. Muddled through a few months doing not too badly. Then, suffered terribly getting off of wheat then on again in order to have celiac test. Test turned out negative but still think I have sensitivity to wheat. But, going off and on the wheat like that destroyed my intestines. They were so sensitive that I was in pain all the time. As I said, I really didn't think herbs would help. First day I took Ibergast with my lunch. Left my house in my car, was sitting at a stoplight 20 mins. later when all of a sudden I felt a knot in my intestine ease up. This was very unusual because sitting in a car or at a computer usually makes my intestines much worse. I am getting so much relief now that I can't believe what a miracle Ibergast is. I did have to figure out that taking it before and with my meal works better than waiting until after my meal when my intestines were all seized up. I don't think taking it is inconvenient. I would do anything not to have the pain I was in. Plus, I think it tastes wonderful. Put it in warm water and drink it like a tea. Then minute it first hit my mouth I knew it was soothing. I can usually tell if a food is going to bother me the minute I put it in my mouth. I highly recommend Ibergast!

Apparently fish oil does all kinds of awesome thnigs for you, like memory, heart, mood, etc. I want some of all that, so I'm taking this stuff. Mega Twin from Twinlab is good because of the high dose of EPA (550mg) and DHA(215) per 1 softgel. Others pills say they have comparable or higher EPA/DHA, but the serving size is 2 or 3 pills .gee thanks for the misleading info. These are a little large, so if you're chicken about swallowing a big pill, then might not be for you. They aren't that super big though, have a slippery kind of coating and go down easy with a little water. Have taken several bottles of these over the years and have never had one fish burp that I can recall, so that's nice (well, maybe one or two out of several hundred). Not a big issue at all is the point. ALSO, I signed up for Amazon's new auto-delivery and the price was about one third of what I pay at my local grocery store. No kiddin. Went back to the page and it is different now though. Anyway, this is good for you, a good product and a really good price.

I can't recommend this product. It left me feeling bloated all the time and constipated. How much water would I need to drink to have the benefits without the bloating? I can't drink more water than I do now (2 liters a day), it's simply not practical for me! Plus, I can't say that it has really curbed my appetite. Placing both hands bheind your head can cause lower back problems in the long run as it places unnecessary stress on that part of your body from pulling on your head and neck.) Another alternative to crossing your arms in front of your chest is to lightly place your finger tips bheind your ears, without pulling on your neck or ears to help raise you off the floor. Draw in your abdomen towards your spine while inhaling through your nose. Now raise your shoulders (upper torso) towards your knees, using strictly your abdominal muscles. It is very important not to lift your entire back off the floor, as this can cause back strain, and the extended movement does not help you develop six pack abs any faster. The most important part of the crunch is the initial flexing of your abs as you lift your shoulders off of the floor. As soon as you begin lifting off the floor exhale through your mouth, ending with a gasp once your shoulders are off the floor. Then pause for a second once you are at the top of the crunch and exhale the last bit of air from your diaphragm while flexing your abs. The proper breathing and flexing make all the difference. Now lower back down slowly and controlled while inhaling through your nose, just until your shoulder blades touch the ground. Do not let your head touch the ground and repeat. Do Sit Ups. Lie on the floor, feet on the floor, knees up and hands bheind your head or crossed on your chest. Sit all the way up, lifting your lower back off the floor along with your shoulder blades. Lower yourself down. Repeat. Once this becomes relatively easy for you (i.e. you can do a quite a bit with ease) start adding more challenges. Find an incline bench or do these on an exercise ball. Once you graduate from that, do weighted sit ups. Hold a weight on your chest while you do these. As these become easier, hold heavier and heavier weights. You might also try lifting your feet off the ground while doing the sit ups or alternating the leg in the air, like pretending to pedal while sitting up. If your hands are bheind your head, bring your left knee up to touch your right elbow and then your right knee to the left elbow.Do Leg Lifts. Lie on the floor, legs straight out, hands at your sides. Lift your legs straight up (not bending your knees at all) until they're at a ninety degree angle (or close). Lower your legs and repeat without letting your legs touch the floor. For more challenge there is equipment at most gyms that will allow you to raise yourself up using your arms as support and dangle your legs. You can perform leg lifts there too. If you're using this piece of equipment, you can make it easier by just raising your knees to your chest. It's more difficult to raise your legs to a horizontal position with your legs straight. This helps firm up the lower abdomen. If you're truly a monster, try doing leg lifts with a medicine ball hanging from your feet. Or hang from a pull up bar and raise your legs in front of you all the way up to the bar. Still too easy? Do Jackknife Sit Ups. Lie down flat on the floor. Place your hands on the ground to your sides for balance; you can pick them up as you get used to the movement. Simultaneously raise your knees and torso so that your knees and face meet on an imaginary line extending from your pelvis to the ceiling. You should be able to kiss your knees at the top of the motion. Your legs will naturally fold bringing your feet towards your hips, much like a jackknife. Lie back down (i.e. spread out ) and repeat. Place a weight between your feet when you think you can handle it. What's that? More?Do V-ups. Lie on the floor, legs straight out, hands on the floor but this time extended out over your head. Simultaneously raise legs and torso. Don't bend your knees! What kind of V would it be if you bend your knees? Reach with your hands toward the raised feet. Touch your feet if possible (might require some flexibility). Relax, return to starting position and repeat. Add weight between feet to match your taste.Static Hold and Side Statics. Put your body into the push-up position but with your elbows on the floor, and you whole body flat. This position is known as the static hold position and it trains your core (including your abs) to hold the body in place which is the real purpose of your abs. Hold this position for as long as possible, but you should be aiming to start off with at least 45 seconds, while seasoned ab workers known to achieve over 20 minute static holds. To perform the side static hold roll onto one side of your body and lift into the same position as before, but this time only one arm will be on the ground with the other arm pointed straight up the air and your non-weight bearing leg resting on your bottom leg. Once again, hold this for as long as possibleTrain Your Oblique Muscles. It's not as important to work on your oblique muscles at first, but eventually you'll want to start working these too. These are the muscles to either side of your stomach. There are multiple ways to do this and anything that includes twisting your torso against a resistance counts. There are twisting machines at gyms, you can twist while you do sit-ups, you can do side bends, you can twist side to side with a medicine ball in hand, etc. Be aware though, that many beginners tend to have weak obliques compared to their abs (it simply isn't used as much in daily life) so go easy on the sides at first.Other stuff Since it is, literally, the center of your body there are many other tricks you can use to train your abs, and some of the other movements will more or less involve your abs. Including every abdominal exercise in existence would make this article painfully long and new methods are being developed constantly. Now that you've made up your mind about a washboard mid-section, get creative! Find new ways to crunch, bend and twist in your daily life. Some possibilities include:Use a stability ball. Do your crunches on the ball to introduce instability to your workout, which will improve your balance too. There are also lots of core exercises that can be done with a stability ball.You can also use a small bubble use for physical therapy.Duck and twist during your daily routine. Reach with your left hand to things on your right and vice versa. If you feel like turning around to face something, see if you can do it with keeping your hips in place and twisting at the waist (warning: awkward when talking to other people, use only against inanimate objects). While walking or standing, pretend that something is coming toward you and you have to duck to get out of the way. Do this as often as you are comfortable or at times when it won't look weird. You can bend forward from the hips or, if you're really into it, bend at the knees too and really sink out of the way. Lose FatLift Weights. The more muscle your body has, the more calories your body burns, even at rest. Many people are afraid of getting huge due to weight lifting. This is meaningless. You will NOT gain a lot of mass if you're not taking in a lot of calories as well. Therefore the most effective muscle groups to work for fat loss are large muscle groups: thighs and hamstrings, the back, and the chest. You can also lift your body weight without going to a gym, through push ups, sit ups, chin ups, etc. Do Cardio. No matter how muscular your abs are that six pack isn't going to show if you cover it up with a layer of fat. Running, biking, swimming, stair climbing, jumping rope, tennis, volleyball, dancing, squash or any other activity that gets you moving and keeps you moving is a great way to burn fat. However, a cardio workout should be performed for at least 20 MINUTES to burn fat. Prior to this your body will simply run on its stored energy, which results in minimal fat loss. Cardio should always be done after your weight lifting workout. While lifting weights, you use stored, (carb) energy, thus, by doing cardio after weight training your body will have less stored energy to use and go straight into the fat storage for its energy use. The overall best way to shed fat fast is to do cardio(30 min minimum) right when you wake up. Your body will search for energy to use, when it finds nothing in your stomach, it will go directly to your fat storage for energy and the fat will burn up so fast!Diet TipsKeep Metabolism Steady.
