A: Vitamin K is not added to the Glucomannan Konjac Root for the purpose of supplementation. Nature's Way labels follow requirements set forth by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Vitamins and minerals that are added for the purpose of supplementation must be listed on the label; however, if a nutrient is naturally occurring as part of an ingredient, it is not listed unless it is present at a level specified in the federal labeling guidelines. Therefore, while Vitamin K may be naturally occurring, it is at such a minimal amount that it is not required to be listed on the label.
In order to ensure safety and efficacy as well as to lessen the potential for interaction, prescription medications and dietary supplements should be taken as directed on the label or by your healthcare practitioner.
